Salted Caramel, Chocolate and Orange Spice Whipped Cream! Make one or all three! Would be fun to set out different flavors of whipped cream to go with your pies, cobblers or hot cocoa! Set up a holiday pie bar!
1tablespooninstant vanilla pudding mixif making ahead
3tablespoonscaramel sauce
1/8teaspoon salt
Chocolate Whipped Cream:
1cupheavy "whipping" creamvery cold
1tablespooninstant vanilla or chocolate pudding mixif making ahead
1/4cup chocolate syrup
1/2teaspoonvanilla
Orange Spice Whipped Cream:
1cupheavy "whipping" creamvery cold
1tablespooninstant vanilla pudding mix
3tablespoonsorange juice (no pulp)
1/2teaspoonorange zest
1/2teaspoonpumpkin pie spice
2tablespoonspowdered sugar
Instructions
You can whip the cream by hand or use a stand or hand mixer with whisk accessory. I used my KitchenAid 5 Cup Chopper with Whisking Accessory.
1 tablespoon of vanilla pudding mix per 1 cup of cream helps to stabilize the whipped cream and keep it from weeping so you can make it a day in advance.
Whip together the cream and pudding mix until cream just starts to thicken. Add the other ingredients and continue to whip until desired consistency.
Store in refrigerator.
Can use for a whipped cream frosting too.
You can easily double or triple the ingredients for a larger batch.
