Stand Mixer Recipes:

Tina’s Pie Crust Recipe
A simple pie crust recipe for your food processor, your stand mixer or to make by hand This is the recipe I use in all my KitchenAid on QVC demonstrations. Makes 2, 9" standard pie crusts for a double crust pie. (if your pie plate is not standard and is super deep dish – you may want to add an extra 1/2 the recipe. See Notes for those measurements. Need to blind bake your crust – see directions in Notes.

Brown Sugar Crumble Topping
Delicious Brown Sugar Crumble Topping for your coffee cakes, muffins, fruit desserts and pies! It makes about 2.5 cups. The perfect amount to generously top a 13 x 9-inch baking pan or a batch of 12 standard sized muffins with some left over!

Gram’s Classic Sugar Cookies with Icing
These are my favorite sugar cookies!  They are buttery, soft and have great vanilla flavor.  Grandma Appolonia always added a little white icing to the top of them.

Make Ahead Whipped Cream (Stabilized)
You can stabilize whipped cream by adding a little instant pudding mix to the heavy cream. It will help to keep your whipped cream from weeping and deflating – so you can whip it up to a day in advance! This recipe also makes a great whipped cream frosting and I use as a substitute for Cool Whip.

Creamy Mashed Potatoes
Creamy, fluffy, buttery mashed potatoes that you can mash with your hand mixer or mash and whip with your KitchenAid Stand Mixer (see video in recipe post on website.) Make ahead 1-2 hours and keep them warm in your slow-cooker.

Easy Homemade Flour Tortillas
These tortillas are so much more delicious than store bought! They’re soft, bendable and taste great with whatever filling you like! They’re easy to mix-up by hand or with your hand or stand mixer! I made them with both vegetable shortening and solid coconut oil.

Stand Mixer Pizza Dough – Makes 2, 12-inch pizzas
Five simple ingredients and some rising time – that’s about all that is needed to make delicious homemade pizza crust! This recipe makes enough for 2, 12″ pizzas.

Hand Mixer Recipes:

Melted Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies – Chewy!
Melted butter helps to make a chewy more dense style cookie (rather than creamed butter and sugar) recipes. You can bake the cookies after mixing, but if you have the time, I strongly suggest chilling the dough balls in the refrigerator for as long as you can. (2 hours to 2 days!) It really deepens the flavor and improves the texture. I like to chill the dough balls rather than the whole batch of cookie dough. As the dough is easier to scoop when it's soft and the dough balls don't take as long to chill as does a whole bowl of dough.

Street Corn Dip
This dip was inspired by the Rojo's Mexican Style Street Corn Dip which was recommended to me as a good find at Costco! I guess this is my dupe or copycat version of Rojo's! Tasting them side-by-side, I like mine better, it has tons of flavor, the texture is a a little thicker/chunkier and has a less pronounced mayonnaise taste.

Savory Butternut Squash Soup
Smooth and silky, this Savory Butternut Squash soup is quick and easy to make on a weeknight! It’s flavored with garlic, onion and thyme.

Banana Berry Smoothie
A delicious smoothie with yogurt, banana and berries!  You can make in your blender or use your hand/immersion blender!

Cauliflower and White Bean Puree
Cauliflower and white beans combine with rosemary and garlic to make a delicious and creamy puree! We love to enjoy this side dish as we would mashed potatoes or soft polenta. (If you need to go a little lower carb, you can swap the beans for more cauliflower!)

Homemade Mayonnaise – (eggless)
If you’ve been hesitant to make your own mayonnaise because of the raw eggs, then this recipe is for you! -adapted from a KitchenAid recipe

Shave Ice – Frozen Tomato Burrata Salad
A really fun and unexpected summer "salad"! Fresh ripe summer tomatoes are transformed into fluffy, snow-like shaved ice – over creamy burrata cheese and topped with balsamic glaze, olive oil and flaky sea salt. It's a savory creative frozen twist on typical shave ice and tomato burrata salad! I love to let the tomato snow melt just a little bit on my tongue – those summery tomato flavors just burst forth!
