KitchenAid 3.5 qt Artisan Mini Stand Mixer in Glass Bowl or Stainless Steel Bowl:

  • Glass Bowl Model: (Exclusive to QVC!)
  • Stainless Steel Model:
Stand Mixer Sourdough Bread
Use your Stand Mixer to make delicious sourdough! It's a more accessible and streamlined process! This recipe makes a 1.5 pound boule shaped loaf. Sourdough bread is known for its tangy flavor, chewy texture, and crisp, crackly crust. It is a naturally leavened bread, which in its purest form, uses a starter of wild yeast and good bacteria rather than commercial yeast. Beginners: Don't panic that the recipe/instructions seem long, once you make it a couple times you won't even need the recipe. Make sure to check out my detailed YouTube video that goes through the whole process step-by-step. Linked in Article and Recipe Notes. Need a recipe for Sourdough Starter? See links in Recipe Notes.

Whipped Honey with Cinnamon and Vanilla
Whipped honey is honey that is whipped to make the texture light, fluffy, creamy and spreadable. The whipping process breaks up the crystals and transforms the crunchy crystallized honey into a texture that's easier to use. So many of us have a jar of crystallized honey in our pantry, whipping the honey is a great what to transform the honey. Whipped honey makes a wonderful homemade gift!

Chicken and Broccoli Pasta Casserole
Nothing beats a bubbly, cheesy delicious pasta casserole!
This easy to pull together comfort-food casserole is something everyone will love! It combines fresh broccoli, chicken, your favorite penne pasta and a jar of alfredo sauce – plus some flavor boosting seasonings and mozzarella cheese! YUM!

Turkey Burgers with Spinach, Feta and Red Pepper
Our Go-To Family Favorite Turkey Burger!
Easy to make and full of flavor & moisture! The roasted red peppers and fresh spinach add a ton of flavor and moisture.
I have always cooked them in a skillet as turkey burger patties have more moisture than traditional beef burgers.

Cooked golden brown turkey burger looks juicy with flecks of red pepper, feta and spinach on a brioche bun with baby spinach. Plate also has sweet potato waffle fries and a simple chopped salad with tomato and cucumber
Easy Sprinkle Sheet Cake
Fun and delicious sprinkle cake! "Almost-homemade" this easy recipe starts with a box mix. So many cake mixes have shrunken over the years, this recipe adds back some flour and sugar along with sour cream for flavor and moisture! It bakes up tall and moist in your 13" x 9" x 2" baking pan.

Easy Buttercream Frosting
Classic Sweet American Buttercream Frosting. It has a high ratio of sugar to butter giving it a sweeter taste and heavier texture.
The texture is controlled by the amount of sugar and milk you add. You can adjust to your needs. Due to the higher sugar content this type of frosting will form an outer crust after spreading/decorating. This can be helpful for covering cakes with plastic wrap and transporting.
Makes generous amount for 9-inch 2-layer cake or 24 cupcakes

Yellow Cake Melted Ice Cream Cupcakes: Yellow cake mix and melted vanilla ice cream. Makes about 24 cupcakes

Mashed Potatoes Note: – I generally can mash between 2-3 pounds of potatoes with my KitchenAid Artisan Mini 3.5 qt Stand Mixer (That’s generally enough for 6-8 people.)

Creamy Mashed Potatoes
Creamy, fluffy, buttery mashed potatoes that you can mash with your hand mixer or mash and whip with your KitchenAid Stand Mixer (see video in recipe post on website.) Make ahead 1-2 hours and keep them warm in your slow-cooker.

Red Velvet Bundt Cake: Used the Melted Ice Cream Cake Recipe below w/ Red Velvet Cake Mix and Vanilla Ice Cream + Peppermint Bark Morsels (Glaze Recipe Below with Pistachio Cake)

Melted Ice Cream Cake Recipe
A moist and delicious cake from 3 ingredients! This is such a fun way to make a boxed cake mix.  Instead of adding the typical the water and oil to your cake mix, you add melted ice cream along with some eggs.  Think of all the flavor combinations you can try!!

Yellow Cake Melted Ice Cream Cupcakes: Yellow cake mix and melted vanilla ice cream. Makes about 24 cupcakes
Pistachio Bundt Cake with Cream Cheese Glaze
This moist delicious bundt cake is easy and always a crowd pleaser!  It’s a quick cake to mix together as it starts with a white cake mix and a box of pistachio instant pudding – then you mix in eggs, oil and sour cream, which makes it tender and moist.  The center of the cake has a ribbon of cinnamon sugar.  You can dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar or drizzle with cream cheese glaze – yum!

Soft & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Chocolate Chip Cookies are buttery and soft with a nice chew when you bite into them! They’re not too thick and not too thin. They come out of the oven puffed in the center, but while cooling, that center nestles down into pure chewy delicious-ness! YUM! This recipe make 2-dozen cookies, a perfectly manageable batch! They stay soft when stored in an air-tight container and they freeze perfectly either before or after baking.

Melted Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies – Chewy!
Melted butter helps to make a chewy more dense style cookie (rather than creamed butter and sugar) recipes. You can bake the cookies after mixing, but if you have the time, I strongly suggest chilling the dough balls in the refrigerator for as long as you can. (2 hours to 2 days!) It really deepens the flavor and improves the texture. I like to chill the dough balls rather than the whole batch of cookie dough. As the dough is easier to scoop when it's soft and the dough balls don't take as long to chill as does a whole bowl of dough.

Bar Cookies for a Crowd – Recipe Tip
I love using the good old Nestle Toll House Recipe for my bar cookies.  But for some reason I never noticed the recipe is written to be used with a “jelly roll pan” (15 x 10-inch.) …I don’t have jelly roll pans, I have half-sheet pans (17 x 12-inch.)  It turns out if you add an extra 1/2 recipe they will bake up perfectly in your half-sheet pans!  Yay lots of cookies for your crowd!

Guacamole! Stand Mixer
Guacamole made easier by mashing with your stand mixer! The results are creamy, chunky and full of flavor! So much more delicious than store bought!

Make Ahead Whipped Cream (Stabilized)
You can stabilize whipped cream by adding a little instant pudding mix to the heavy cream. It will help to keep your whipped cream from weeping and deflating – so you can whip it up to a day in advance! This recipe also makes a great whipped cream frosting and I use as a substitute for Cool Whip.

3 Flavored Whipped Creams (Make Ahead)
Salted Caramel, Chocolate and Orange Spice Whipped Cream! Make one or all three! Would be fun to set out different flavors of whipped cream to go with your pies, cobblers or hot cocoa! Set up a holiday pie bar!

Gram’s Classic Sugar Cookies with Icing
These are my favorite sugar cookies!  They are buttery, soft and have great vanilla flavor.  Grandma Appolonia always added a little white icing to the top of them.

Soft Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies
These Soft Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies are thick, soft, chewy and have just enough tang from the cream cheese to offset some of the sweetness in the cookie and the buttercream frosting. Makes 2 dozen (2 1/2 inch approx.) Cookies.

Tina’s Pie Crust Recipe
A simple pie crust recipe for your food processor, your stand mixer or to make by hand This is the recipe I use in all my KitchenAid on QVC demonstrations. Makes 2, 9" standard pie crusts for a double crust pie. (if your pie plate is not standard and is super deep dish – you may want to add an extra 1/2 the recipe. See Notes for those measurements. Need to blind bake your crust – see directions in Notes.

Tina’s Single Pie Crust Recipe
