These Soft Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies are thick, soft, chewy and have just enough tang from the cream cheese to offset some of the sweetness in the cookie and the buttercream frosting.

I am so excited about this cheesecake!! It is absolutely delicious! The creamy peanut butter cheesecake filling sits atop an Oreo crumb crust and is topped with rich chocolate ganache!

Our Favorite Banana Bread

Our favorite banana bread bakes up into a nice tall, moist loaf with great banana flavor! It’s buttery and sweet, but not too sweet – I’ve reduced the sugar amount over the years and added part whole wheat flour and either wheat germ or golden flaxseed meal to “up” the nutritional value.

This quick, easy and delicious Banana Oat Pancake recipe uses 100% oat flour, which is easy to make at home (if you have some oats stashed in your pantry!) The pancakes are fluffy and moist with a lovely banana taste! It’s like having your favorite banana bread in a pancake!

Oat & Cinnamon Beer Bread (DIY Oat Flour, No Yeast)

We very much enjoyed this hearty bread, especially with some butter and jam! The beer gives the loaf a slightly yeasty taste. The cinnamon pairs well with the oat flour which is a little sweeter tasting than all-purpose flour. It toasts up nicely too! It can be gluten-free if you use certified gluten-free oats, baking powder and beer.

Cheesy Herb Beer Bread (No Yeast, No Eggs)

This Cheesy Herb Beer Bread is delicious, super-quick and easy to make. It bakes up into a savory “quick bread” style loaf. This one has shredded cheese and dried herbs added, use what you have on hand! The bread gets bathed in melted butter 2 times while baking, so it has a wonderful, slightly crumbly, buttery crust.

There’s nothing quite like making your own bread! Really gives you a feeling of accomplishment! (and it smells amazing!) This bread bakes up soft and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to slice. It’s great slathered with some butter and makes delicious sandwiches – hello best PB & J ever! The next day I love it toasted with jam or made into french toast!
