Beef Stew with Red Wine and Rosemary

Beef stew seems like an easy enough dish to “get right”,  but it took me years to figure out how to make a truly flavorful and tender beef stew that my whole family loves! Bacon, red wine and fresh herbs help develop a rich beefy flavor. I braise the stew in the oven for tenderness and deep caramelization. Make sure to read my 12 Tips for Great Beef Stew! Pistachio Bundt Cake with Cream Cheese Glaze

This moist delicious bundt cake is easy and always a crowd pleaser!  It’s a quick cake to mix together as it starts with a white cake mix and pistachio instant pudding – then you mix in eggs, oil and sour cream, which makes it tender and moist.  The center of the cake has a ribbon of cinnamon sugar.  This cake is perfect for any occasion, but with that ribbon of cinnamon in the center, I love a slice with a cup of coffee for breakfast!

Tropical Green Smoothie

This is my favorite green smoothie!  I like to make it at least twice a week.  It’s a great way to get lots of greens, fruits and fiber into your diet.  I often pour it into a to-go cup and take it on the run.  I use lacinato kale which is also known as dinosaur/dino kale, Tuscan kale and black kale.

This is a smaller version of our favorite Macaroni & Cheese for a Crowd (20-25 people) Recipe.  It serves 10-12 people depending upon your serving size.  The recipe uses cheddar and American cheese.  The American cheese adds creaminess and is mild, so it’s a great blend.  All ages love it!
